Only when there is enough context.
Three or more completed words can qualify normally. A two-word burst wakes cleanup only when Idio can still prove something in the visible text is unresolved.
Idio is built around text you already entered. It does not try to finish your sentence. It reconstructs recent intent in layers, from the fastest mechanical fix to a deliberate Clean Up.
can yuo snd me teh adress when u get a sec
After Idiocan you send me the address when u get a sec
No prediction bar. No reply generation.Once you finish a word, Idio can score the mechanical readings against the text, your optional personal error evidence and your optional touch evidence. When one reading is safely ahead, it repairs the word and shows exactly what changed.
my keybaord keeps eating words

You should not have to press a button for normal cleanup. After a real pause, recent text Idio still owns can get a bounded on-device second pass on supported iPhones.

The moment you keep typing, move the cursor or change the document, stale cleanup loses authority.
If the background pass finds nothing safe to apply, it gets out of the way instead of nagging you with a banner.
Idio can keep a bounded recent intent window in memory instead of forcing every decision at the first space. That lets a later word settle an earlier reading while the text is still owned by this keyboard session.
Moving the cursor, leaving the field or newer incompatible input ends that authority.
Clean Up is not the normal correction path. It is the explicit button you tap when you look at the text and think Idio missed something.
Clean Up tells the on-device proofreader that the person explicitly thinks something may still be wrong, so it scrutinizes the selected recent context more carefully.
Choose 1 sentence, 2 sentences or Paragraph in Keyboard → Typing. Paragraph means Idio-owned text since the last line break. The full owned text still acts as the stale-document witness.
Clean Up may fix typing, spelling, capitalization, punctuation and basic grammar. It must preserve clean wording, slang, names, codes and your voice.
If Clean Up proposed something Idio could not validate safely, it says so. Only when the model says the text is unchanged and the deterministic fallback also finds nothing does Clean Up say “Nothing else to fix.”
Idio shows the word/span it changed instead of silently pretending the original never existed.
Restore the exact prior text. A verified rejection can also suppress that correction pair for the session.
Your explicit protected spelling is a hard rule. Soft learning can never override it.
No generated reply, prose continuation or generic next-word bar. Idio’s suggestions are retro readings of text you already typed.
Core correction is local. On supported iPhones, Apple’s Foundation Model is used on-device for bounded cleanup and Clean Up.
A proposal is revalidated against the current document and cursor before Idio can mutate the field.
Let the fast path handle the obvious stuff. Let Auto Clean handle the connected mess. Use Clean Up only when you think something still slipped through.
